INTRODUCTION
The papers of the founder, director, then president, of the Women's Institute for Freedom of the Press and the founder and editor of Media Report to Women include professional correspondence and printed materials on sex and race discrimination cases, media stereotypes, public broadcasting, women's news, national and international women's conferences, and women in management.
Donna Allen donated her papers to the University of Missouri on 5 November 1987 (Accession No. 4810). Additions to the collection were made on 20 January 1988 and 19 July 1989 (Accession No. 4826). The papers are part of the National Women and Media Collection.
